Life Coaching
Life throws many surprises at us. While we can’t control these, we can learn to control how we respond to them. This is where I come in. I can help you learn to be your own best resource, no matter what your circumstances.
Personal life coaching is a collaborative process where I listen, ask questions and offer feedback to help you gain awareness and clarity. Together we’ll figure out what’s at the heart of the matter, what’s stopping you from making the progress you want to, and where the opportunities for developing (and practicing!) a new way of being exist.
Where relevant, I’ll share tools and frameworks that might help you gain new ways of seeing things. I’ll help you find ways to apply what you’ve learnt in our coaching sessions in your day-to-day life. This is where the rubber hits the road, and what makes for deep, sustainable change.
I’m an ICF Professional Certified Coach. I can help you to:
Observe your own patterns of thinking, speaking and reacting with greater clarity
See your situation more objectively
Maintain emotional composure in the midst of overwhelming situations
Understand your reactions better
See how you embody the beliefs you hold about yourself and your place the world
Learn to change habitual ways of being that aren’t serving you
Improve your self-confidence
Develop practices and build a set of tools to support you in maintaining the changes you make
Learn to communicate your needs clearly in a responsible and respectful way
See new possibilities.
My life coaching is best suited to people who are open to new ways of seeing things, and who are willing to experiment and practice outside of our sessions.
Life coaching is focused around you and your particular needs.
Typically:
8 sessions weekly or every 2 weeks
Online
I also work in-person if you prefer and are based in Cape Town
1 hour, but 45 minute or 1.5 hour sessions are also possible.
Where helpful, I work with assessments such as the Enneagram, Positive Intelligence and Identity Maturation frameworks. These can be extremely useful in allowing you to gain a more objective view of yourself including your motivations, superpowers, defences, areas for development and blind spots. Assessments can help us know where to focus.
